So i am not big on politics at all. It is divisive and sometimes just silly. I saw this guy Mike Huckabee in a debate a few months ago and its been fun to watch him rise in the polls and take heat from every side, the left, the right, everyone.
It makes me think of this Derek Webb song called “Name”:

Ok, now watch this press conference on CNN, yeah i know its 8 minutes but he handles the questions and attacks so well:
I’m a little worried that a lot of Christians will vote for him because he is labeled Christian. I think most Christians would find that they don’t align with his beliefs, but who looks at that?
Yeah, unfortunately some will. My support for him actually has little to do with him being a Christian, he matches up with the things i value.
I hope that people research where he stands on the issues and what he believes and make an educated discerning decision from there. We’ll see, next year should get more intense.
